wounded 4/6/62 Shiloh Tenn Discharged for wounds 10-16-62. Came to Bremer County Iowa, about 1857. Came to Ia with his brother. His brother went back to N.Y. and served in Co. I. 8th N.Y. Cav. Albert was severly wounded at the battle of Shiloh and was discharged because of those wounds. He returned to Bremer County and after regainning his health again took up farming.
