Born in Germany about 1839 and came to Bremer Co when a young. man Enlisted at the age of 23 years after the war came back to his home co. and in 1865 was married to Dorothea Collins who was born Oct. 13 1845 in German[y] coming to American in 1857 and to Bremer Co. in 1864. Four sons and 3 daughters were bodn to them. She died at Readlyn Ia Mar 3 1930 at age of 84. Mr. Richmann died Apr. 18, 1899 one daughter Mrs. J.J Scheum also preceded the mother in death.
