Jeffrey Lee Graham, 51, of Waverly, died Friday, June 5, 2015, from injuries sustained in an accident at Ritel Copter Service. Jeff was born October 1, 1963, in Waterloo, Iowa, the son of Donald and Mary (Horeji) Graham. He graduated from Dunkerton High School in 1982. He then served in the United States Army until his honorable discharge in 1987. On June 19, 1998, he was united in marriage to Tammy Walker at the Little Brown Church in Nashua. Jeff was employed for 25 years with Air Methods Corp as an air care mechanic and then was named Regional Maintenance Director. He worked for Ritel Copter Service for 30 years, the past three as a full time master mechanic.
Jeff was a longtime member of the Short Wing Piper Club and AOPA (Pilots Association). He enjoyed flying his airplane, gardening, fishing, remodeling older VW Beetles and “tinkering”. He especially enjoyed time spent with his family.
Jeff is survived by his wife, Tammy of Waverly, two sons; Nicholas Graham of Cedar Falls and Zachary (Mackensie) Graham of Germany, two daughters; Britaney Wubbena of Waverly and Bailey Uhlenhopp of Cedar Falls, one granddaughter; Hadley, his parents Donald and Mary Graham of Raymond, two sisters; Lori High of Shell Rock and Lisa Graham of Texas. He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Anton and Telora Horeji and paternal grandparents, Theadore and Marie Graham.
Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2015, at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home in Waverly with Pastor Jon Hennings officiating. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, June 9, 2015, at the Kaiser-Corson Funeral Home. Memorials may be directed to the family for a later designation.
